#clyde was an ordinary tortoise #he munched lettuce and made his way aimlessly around the woodchips #but what clyde did not know wwas that he would be plucked out of his ordinary life by a latexed hand one day #and his life would change forever#he would be held thoughtfully over a boiling pot of water as a strange man considered making him into soup #he would be tipped on his back and made to serve as a humiliated paperweight #he would even be called to practice medicine#something clyde had never dreamed he would do #but there he was #ambling across the city #a red cross emblazoned proudly across his back
Yikes, I don’t watch Elementary but the producers/animal carer people should know that you shouldn’t keep tortoises on wood-chips or you seriously put them at risk of intestinal impaction!

I totally had one when I was younger and it was so fluffy and cute and would walk between your legs (you really had to be careful not to squash them - We aptly named her Pancake though she never became one).
